Walk into ten workshops and you will hear ten different rankings of "the best coating". The reason is that the names get sold as if they are four competing products on a shelf. They are not. Sort them by what they actually are and the whole picture clears up.
There are two real categories, plus a third thing that is not a coating at all.
Category one, sealants. A sealant is a synthetic layer that rests on top of your paint. Teflon coating for cars is the common one here. It shines, it sheds water, and then it wears away, because it never becomes part of the surface.
Category two, the ceramic-coating family. A ceramic coating is a liquid, usually silica (SiO2) based, that chemically bonds with the clear coat and cures into a hard, glass-like layer. Zirconia coating (ceramic with zirconium dioxide)

The part that matters more than the coating you pick
Here is what most workshops will not tell you, because it is not a product they can upsell. The single biggest factor in how a coating performs is not whether it is ceramic, graphene or zirconia. It is the prep underneath it.

A good detailer tells you when to spend less, not just more.
